Shift and Compensation
- Monday-Friday 7-4 PM
- $22
- Utilize maintenance manuals provided by equipment suppliers to maintain and operate all equipment in the School Corporation.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
- Address plumbing issues as needed.
- Complete work orders approved by the Maintenance Director.
- Maintain accountability for all assigned tools and equipment.
- Ensure trucks and tractors are returned for repair and service as needed.
- Adhere to all relevant laws and standards, including IOSHA and AHERA regulations.
- Recommend the purchase of supplies and equipment.
- Clear snow from playgrounds, sidewalks, and parking lots.
- Maintain security of equipment and buildings.
- Pursue continual education relevant to the job.
- Be certified to work on R410A refrigerant systems.
- Assist in recommending and distributing custodial supplies.
- Maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, and students.
- Participate in on-call shifts as assigned.
- Keep dock areas clean and drains open.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills.
